Macbooks – Finally they are out!

ေစာင့္ခဲ့ရတာ ၇လ ၈လေလာက္ရွိေတာ့မယ္။ အခုမွပဲ မက္ဘြတ္ခ္ အသစ္ေတြထြက္ေတာ့တယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္မွာေတာ့ … အဲ့ဒီေကာင္ေတြ ထြက္မလားထြက္မလား ေစာင့္ရင္း ရွိတဲ့ .. ပိုက္ဆံေလး ကုန္သြားတယ္။ ၾကားထဲမွာ ၀ယ္လိုက္တဲ့ Compaq တစ္လံုးႏွင့္ ေသာင္တင္ျပီး က်န္ခဲ့တာပဲ အဖတ္တင္တယ္။

အသစ္ထြက္တဲ့ .. မက္ဘြတ္ခ္ေတြ အေၾကာင္းကို ကြ်န္ေတာ္ detail မေရးေတာ့ပါဘူး။ ( ေနာက္ပိုင္း ဘယ္သတင္းမွ အေသးစိတ္မေရးတာ အေကာင္းဆံုးပဲ၊ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ရဲ႕ ေပါက္ကရဘာသာျပန္ကို ဖတ္မဲ့အစား ဘိလပ္လိုေရးထားတဲ့ သတင္း ေအာ္ရီဂ်င္နယ္ကိုသာ အားေပးသင့္ပါတယ္။ ) ပိုပါး .. ပုိျမန္၊ ဂရပ္ဖစ္ မဟားဒယား ပိုေကာင္းလာျပီး၊ Benchmark ေတြအရ အေကာင္းဆံုး ဂိမ္းကစားႏိုင္တဲ့ Laptop လို႔ေတာင္ ေျပာေနတာကို ေတြ႔ရပါတယ္။ အလ်ဴမီနီယမ္ကို အျပည့္အ၀ … တစ္သားတည္း ျဖစ္ေအာင္ အင္ဂ်င္နီယာ ေကာင္းေကာင္းနဲ႔ တည္ေဆာက္ထားလို႔ ခိုင္ခန္႔ျပီး .. သူ႔ရဲ႕ Glass “LED” Display ကလည္း နဂိုကထက္ ပိုမို လင္းလက္ ေတာက္ေျပာင္ေနပါတယ္။ Multi-Touch တပ္ခ်္ပဒ္ … ကလည္း ေျပာစရာမလိုေအာင္ အသံုး၀င္ပါတယ္။ အသစ္ထြက္မဲ့ Snow Leopard ရဲ႕ OpenCL, GrandCentral စတဲ့ အဆင့္ျမွင့္ … API ေတြ.. Code Base ေတြႏွင့္ ေပါင္းစပ္လိုက္ရင္ .. အေကာင္းဆံုး Laptop တစ္လံုးလို႔ေတာင္ ေျပာလို႔ရေနပါျပီ။ … Firewire မပါတာ၊ Glass ေၾကာင့္ အနည္းငယ္ပိုေလးသြားတာ၊ အစရွိတဲ့ ပန္းသီးရဲ႕ ထံုးစံအတိုင္း အူေၾကာင္ေၾကာင္ ျပႆနာေတြကိုေတာ့ လက္ခံေပးႏိုင္ရပါမယ္။

ကြ်န္ေတာ္ ကေတာ့ လက္ရွိကာလ မြဲသြားတဲ့အတြက္ ဘာမွမ၀ယ္ႏိုင္ေသးပါဘူး။ ေက်ာင္းက ေငြေခ်းျပီး ၀ယ္ရင္ေကာင္းမလားလို႔ေတာ့ စဥ္းစားေနပါတယ္။ ၾကည့္ၾကေသး တာေပါ့ဗ်ာ။ ေသခ်ာတာတစ္ခုကေတာ့ မက္ဘြတ္ခ္တစ္လံုး အေတာ္ေလး လိုအပ္ေနတယ္ဆိုတာပါပဲ။

အမ်ားခန္႔မွန္းထားတဲ့အတိုင္း ဒီေန႔မနက္ ပန္းသီးစတိုးခဏေဒါင္းသြားျပီးတဲ့ သကာလမွာ iMac အသစ္ေတြ ထြက္လာပါျပီ။ ပ်င္းစရာေကာင္းမွာဆိုးလို႔ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ဒီမွာ system ကို အေသးစိတ္ မေရးေတာ့ဘူး၊ ဂရပ္ဖစ္ကဒ္ေတြ၊ မမ္မိုရီေတြ၊ ဟာ့ဒစ္စ္ဆိုက္ေတြ မေတာ္မတရားတိုးျမွင့္လိုက္တာကို ေတြ႔ရပါတယ္။ ေနာက္ ၄လေလာက္ေတာ့ ထပ္ျပီး Refresh မျဖစ္ေလာက္ေတာ့ဘူးလို႔ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ထင္တယ္။ Design ပိုင္းလည္း ၆လ ၈လ အတြင္းမွာ ထြက္ဖို႔မျမင္ဘူးဗ်။ ဒါေပမယ့္ မက္ခ္ဘြတ္၊ မက္ခ္ဘြတ္ပရိုအသစ္ေတြေတာ့ ဒီဇိုင္းပိုင္းခ်ိန္းဦးမယ္လို႔ ေကာလဟာလၾကားပါတယ္။ ေနာက္ဆံုး အိုင္ဖုန္း 3G ကေတာ့ ဇြန္လ ၉ရက္ WWDC Keynote မွာ ေၾကျငာမယ္လို႔ ေျပာေနၾကတာ မ်က္စိေတာင္ေနာက္စရာပဲ။ ဟိုတေလာက ၀ယ္လိုက္တဲ့လူမ်ားေတာ့ အဟဲအဟဲ။ တရီးဂ်ီရေတာ့၀ူး။

There's something in the Air, is there?

Back into business. Refrained from blogging for a few days. At the moment, I feel darn stressed and blogging seems to be a good relaxation. First things first, Gunners were held by Blues at home. I am awed by this result. They played sublime passing and slick football for what? As long as the guys can’t lift a good punt into back of the net, we are not winning anything. Terrible corners and awful way wide shots. Hope Mr.Beckham could teach them how to whip in a proper cross into the box.

Oh today is 14th! Tomorrow will be our long awaiting Macworld Event =D This year’s slogan is “There’s something in the Air” and it did raise several question marks on the pundits’ heads. Speculations are flying around such that Apple would release new tiny slim light macbooks called Macbook Air, takes initiative in WiMax world, new gadgets which can be charged via wireless induction. Plus, some even suggest that they would announce something regarding with Wireless Frequency Bid by Federal. These are pretty enticing quotes and we’ll see what will happen soon.

And I’m gonna aggregate an RSS feed for all my Burmese readers in no time. Until that time, please bear with this …

Disable/Enable Trackpads with Batch File

ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ Mouse Driver ရသြားေတာ့ Vista မွာ ျပန္သံုးလို႔ရသြားတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ အရင္ကတည္းက မေက်မနပ္ျဖစ္ေနတာ ၁ခုရွိေသးတယ္ဗ်။ Trackpad ပဲ။ အဲ့ဒီေကာင္ကို ကြ်န္ေတာ္ Disable/Enable လုပ္ရတာ ခဏခဏ အလုပ္ရႈပ္တယ္ဗ်ာ။ အဆင့္ေတြအမ်ားၾကီးသြားျပီး ကြ်န္ေတာ္ သြားသြားႏွိပ္ရတာ၊ Disable မလုပ္ရင္လည္း ကြ်န္ေတာ္ စာရိုက္တိုင္း သြားသြားျငိွေနတာႏွင့္ ဒုကၡေရာက္တယ္။ OS X မွာေတာ့ Mouse Preferences မွာတင္ ေရြးထားလို႔ရတယ္။ ထားပါေတာ့ .. ဒါႏွင့္ Command-line က လုပ္ဖို႔ ကြ်န္ေတာ္စလုပ္တယ္။ Devcon ( Device Manager ကို Command Line က သံုးတာ) ရွိေနတာပဲ ဆိုတာကို ေတြ႔သြားျပီး ကြ်န္ေတာ္ Batch file ေလး ၂ခု ခပ္သုတ္သုတ္ ေရးလိုက္တယ္။ သံုးခ်င္တဲ့လူေတြ အတြက္ ေအာက္မွာ ေပးလိုက္ပါတယ္။

1) Download devcon.exe from me. Or if you are paranoid, you can also get from my big uncle site (eh, Microsoft, i mean).

2) Put that exe into C:\ directory. You can also put it any where you wish but you have to change the batch files yourself, then =).

3) Download these Enable batch file and Disable batch file onto your Desktop or any where you like.

4) Run those two files alternatively to enjoy using your mouse without tangling your trackpad anymore!
